Hey everyone!

Today's look incorporates ideas of intention and application of styling; that is, mixing casual and formal pieces to create an entirely fresh look! By showing the natural waist, the strong clean lines of the trouser are emphasized. To bring this silhouette back to a more classic casual look, I paired the trousers with a plain tee and denim jacket, as well as a simple canvas trainer.

Hey everyone,

So, the last few months have been the most surreal and busy that I have experienced in a very long time. First, (for those of you who don't follow me on Instagram) I went on a trip to San Francisco with my two best friends--probably one of the most amazing experiences in my lifetime so far. Whilst there, I managed to pick up this amazing vintage Haori from a small vendor in Japantown. Second, I went to Las Vegas for my brother's bachelor party which (to say the least) was a very different experience than San Francisco, but a fun one nonetheless. Then, one of my good friends Melody (who I haven't seen in 2 years!) came and visited from Singapore--her time here was filled with laughter, photos (thanks for the pics, Mel xx), and a lot of positive growth in our friendship. Finally, I traveled back to my hometown for his wedding, and spent time visiting with both close and distant family whom I have not seen in some time.

Ultimately, I want this look to commemorate all of the new and amazing experiences I have had so far this summer, and how they have altered my perspective--as it is a promise to myself of a better and more focused quality of life.

I hope you all continue to follow me in my adventures, and I am glad to be back!

Hey everyone!

Today's look brings together the classic sophistication of the tan trench coat, with the effortlessly-chic. This season is all about the woven leather shoe--classic material, yet lightweight enough to be worn in the summer months (sock-less, of course). I wanted to really style this look for the warm weather, while still being able to layer to an extent. I achieved this by using a lighter wash ripped jean, and a crisp and airy collared shirt. Of course, no summer look would be complete without the perfect pair of sunglasses!

Hey everyone!

Today's look marks the second installment of my collaboration with Paul Rizk.
I wanted to base the outfit around this amazing over-sized vintage suit coat, so the I kept the layered-silhouette slim and classic. This great mandarin-collar shirt, classic skinnies, and sockless loafers helped to achieve this silhouette. It also never hurts to accessorize with a great bag!

Hey everyone!

Today marks the first installment of my collaboration with Paul Rizk. Lately, I've been inspired with thoughts of gradient blue skies, and the feeling of a fresh summer breeze in the air. I wanted to pair this gradient cotton shirt and suit-jacket cardigan with a navy cuffed trouser and navy canvas shoe. This subtle monochrome needed to be offset slightly, so I accessorized with a great leather belt, and my favorite vintage BOY London leather backpack. These are the perfect accessories for a summer day on-the-go.
